Many people marketing their properties for sale are daring to suggest that coloured bathroom suites are set to make a fashion comeback. Could we really be set for a return to bathing in burgundy? Or is the claim that "avocado is the new white" simply a sales pitch used by credit-crunched home owners who cannot afford to replace their coloured bathroom suites with contemporary white?
There are few things which should be kept in mind while opting for particular wallpaper. The most important factor while selecting any particular design is the shape and size of the room. The prints or the colour on the wall paper who directly affect the appearance of the room in terms of size and shape. A room which does not have much of carpet area would look suffocating if wallpapers of bold prints are put on the walls. Similarly another important factor is the intensity of light in the room. The entire work on interiors will be ruined if the light composition does not match the colour combination in the wall paper. A lightly lit room will look darker and depressing if the colours in the wallpapers are also dark and deep in shade. Such rooms require light coloured and fresh pastel colours on walls.
But uniforms are not only indicative of a profession, but also a sign of respect for those requiring your services. First, they can identify you as the providers they are looking for and, secondly, most uniforms are as if molded on the specifications clients expect. A hotel maid or any other hospitality employee would not impart a sense of cleanness and hygiene if not wearing a uniform, in spite of the biggest smile on their faces. And how would you like to be served by a waitress wearing her long hair down or dressed in the same casual clothes she wore on the way to work, presumably full of bacteria? Or to have the same experience with your dentist? Wouldn't you replace him right away?
Always be on the look out for different variations of what's popular. You may not like the design or colors of the latest spring dresses, but you can opt to choose something else that looks like it, but in a different color. Also, most high-end fashion designs will be priced way too much; an alternate or substitute style can always come in handy.
Another good thing about doing an internship is if you are good and your manager likes your designs they could put in a good word for you. They are able to talk with other stores and spread the word about your work. You may even find your manager wants to help you enter into amateur contests in order for you to show your designs off. This is a very good way for the word to get out about the aspiring fashion designer that you are.
